I would have to say the all the belts have changed hands many of time in the heavy division. For the WBO in general many greaty fighters have held the belt and currently hold the belt. wlad held the WBO for three years and made it a manistream and wellknow asset in the heavy division. Ray Mercer was of the best fighters in the past twenty years said Wlad carry the WBO bely very well. Can't disagree with a former gold medalist and former heavy champ of the world. Unless it's Audley Harrison man that guy sucks! How the hell did he win the gold?

Agreed. To hold any version of the heavyweight title is the most prestigous and most sought after title in the world.

Mercer also the lost the belt real quick after he won it off of Morrison in the early 90s. I do think it's who holds the belt that matters, but look at Iggy's best wins, there over Briggs and Holyfield, not exactly stiff competition, and a draw against Ray Austin is pretty sad as well.

Thats why i cant beleive people are picking Sultan to win. It makes not ****n sense. Mercer gave Holyfield and Lewis all they could handle.

Yes, but what's sad is it's not a PPV event.

Agreed on both points, I feel Mercer beat Lewis' in that fight. I also feel Iggy has only a slim chance of beating Wlad, other than a early round knockout or Wlad gassing out late in the fight, Iggy is out of luckin this one IMO. I just hope Iggy goes balls to the wall and looks for a knockout early, be the predator and make Wlad be the prey early on.

Watch it again. Mercer did not beat Lewis. He put up a good fight, but it wasn't enough.

I watched it a couple times, it should of either been a Mercer victory or a draw, alot people agree Lewis didnt do enough to win that fight, the Holyfield/Mercer fight was competitive, but Holyfield clearly won.

Sorry... you must be either a young chap or you don't fully understand boxing. Lewis controlled the fight, not Mercer. And I was rooting for Mercer.

Holyfield did, Lewis didn't. The Lewis/Mercer fight was close, that I think anyone would agree on, everyone sees fights differently, it doesnt make you right or me wrong.
