What fighter got you into boxing?

    waiting for the Mayweather fight got me into thinking what fighter got me into the spot of boxing? For me it was Tyson.

    Not sure really, as silly as it sounds the first time I really started getting into watching it was when Jon Thaxton used to be on ITV4 a few years ago, that is when I became a proper fan rather than just one of those people who know the world champions and that is it.

    Chris Eubank & Nigel Benn I.........was my first boxing memory.

    I then remember watching most of Eubank's career, the whole family used to watch boxing back then.

    Not anymore.

    Never been a fan of either of them that much really but Hatton/Mayweather was the first fight I stayed up for and since then I've been hooked. Was just a casual fan really before.

    Froch on itv4 when I was a kid, after the jean pascal fight I remember thinking I need to watch more of this stuff! :lol:

    Ricky Hatton.

    First fight I ever properly watched was Mayweather - De La Hoya.

    It has been a steep learning curve for me...
