Mayweather confirms that he did have a hand injury going into the fight!

    There was a thread a few days before the fight saying Mayweather hurt his wrist, it seems it was true!

    Glad he fought on with it!

    Apparently he is saying he only weighed in at 147 on fight night too! Did HBO do a fight night weigh in? I didnt see as I watched on Boxnation

    For what? He clearly won the fight and gave Cotto plenty of credit! Just interesting back ground info!

    No fight day weights given on the HBO tale of the tape. Full fight video link in a thread on the first page(look for thread with the words "full fight video". Link on last page of thread).

    Probably untrue, but he weighed 150 for Dela Hoya at the weigh in and 148 on fight night.

    So it's a possibility, however unlikely.

    And to the poster who mentioned excuse. :lol: It's hard to find a round where you could definitively say Cotto won it.
