    It was not a close fight and there were no controversies so a rematch would be pointless.

    Pointless... From a promotional point of view a rematch wouldn't do anywhere nearly as well either simply because last night was a clear cut Mayweather win.

    cotto vs alvarez would definitely be FOTY. I give the edge to cotto on experience and I still think hes a stronger fighter than alvarez
