I'm hearing a lot of mixed reviews as far as how floyd looked regarding his accuracy, footwork, sharpness etc etc.

My question to everyone here is how did he look to you? Sharp? Old? Ok but aging

in my opinion he looked as great as he had in years, his approach to the fight & what was given to him in terms of angles and openings may change your opinion

    Thoughts? :bbb

Reminded me of when De La Hoya started to become a part time fighter...
You can still see shades but obvious cracks, that said there is nobody in or around Floyd's wt class who can do **** about it.

Maybe this time next year... We will be ready for Alvarez to take the reigns.

    I think he looked fantastic....

    STRONG
    FAST
    TERRIFIC Foowork

This is the best in my opinion that floyd has been conditioning wise for a while, cotto makes it difficult to get punches in unless your just letting them fly VIA pacquiao. Floyd didn't get much to work with against cotto and he can counter punch a little bit so you have to pick and choose your spots... that is unless your 100000% going forward (marg/pac)

1st time watching the fight. That he looked a little past it or off.

Just finished watching the fight again.

Looked as good as ever. Reflexes are 100% there. Defence is still the best ever. He allowed Cotto to have his moments by chilling on the ropes much long than he should have so obviously punches were getting thru. But damn did Cotto miss A LOT. I have to see the stats for this one.

I have a pretty good feeling Floyd will retire. He said there's no one left to fight, and we know the PAC **** ain't happening so..... It was fun to watch that genuis in the ring. Damn

Looked good (not as impressive due to his ridiculously high standards), but naturally, age is catching up with him.

^^ Actually, **** that. Cotto deserves credit for making Floyd look like that. He brought his A-game.

He looked good as usual, but it seems like the weight is more of an issue than his age

He looked like a 35 year old great boxer who fights once a year.

    We all get old.

looked about as good as i figured he would against a fighter he didnt enjoy every possible advantage over. its harder to look as good against real competition as you do against those who are totally overmatched. i think he fought up to his true abilities. i was actually impressed with his heart.

he looked good. Cotto is no joke and brought the fight to Floyd and didn't get discouraged. It had more to do with Cotto not being discouraged and bringing the fight than Floyd getting old overnight IMO
