Mayweather had a tough fight because: a) his right hand was busted, b) he was sick, or c) he chose to make it tough on him self.

I say he just fought a good and determined fighter in miguel cotto. Stop the bs excuses!

The man clearly won, no need for embarrassing excuses. And yes, mayweather was classy, but saying that he chose to get his nose busted and swollen up is pure bull ****.

Some of you are really gullible

Because he's not that great than he was before.

I say that Miguel Cotto put too much pressure on him and floyd decided to trade punches. Mayweather had a tough fight because of how he reacted to Cottos aggression. So in reality both men were responsible.

Cotto lost by 6 rounds in his own weight division, as far as im concerned Cotto didnt do that well, he was gutsey but thats it..
Mayweather steps up a division and smashed it.

I think it has been evident in his las few fights that his legs arent as quick as before. Thankfully for him, he is a complete fighter amd doesnt have to just resort to one tactic.

That is my point though, why make up all these excuses when there is no doubt that he is the better man. Is he really that insecure?

Cotto is not natural at 154 either. . . He's far too small to be at 154. . . Him and Floyd are about the same natural size.

I agree. . . There is no excuses for his performance, because it was a good performance! Cotto is just a very good boxer/puncher. . .

Cotto won 2,3, maybe 4 rounds. . About what most epople were expecting.

What I wasn't expecting, was how well Cotto boxed with FLoyd in the center of the ring. . . .

It was a tough fight because d) Cotto was his opponent.

    D) Because Cotto had a good gameplan, I wouldnt go as far as to say he asked for a bloody nose lol Definately a tough fight by the scale we judge Mayweather on, but still a very impressive win

I believe Floyd could of just outboxed Cotto if he chose too, but more people would of discredit him winning in that fashion. But beating Cotto in the type of fight that he did I feel like more people will give him credit for his win. anyway you put it good win for Floyd.

Because Cotto was physically and mentaly ready for the fight and Mayweather opened himself up more to take hits then he has in the past due to him looking to get a knockout rather then looking to just outpoint him.

  13. Ellerbe gave Floyd a blowjob before the weigh in. Sex close to a fight = bad.

Cotto had his least success in the middle of the ring. The first 2 rounds were almost embarassing actually. Despite Lampley's cheer leading :yep

9-3 victory. He fought an elite guy. Only with Floyd is that viewed as not good.
