I still think Pacquiao can very well beat Floyd. . . He's A LOT faster than Cotto, and he probably hits just as hard (not on the inside, but from mid-range). . He could jump in, and out on Floyd, and catch him with some shots.

 

This. . . I was surprised how Cotto was boxing Floyd in the center of the ring. . Pacquiao is exponentially faster, and more explosive than Cotto from outside, and mid-range too. . . He's not as good of a boxer as Cotto, nor does he have the jab Cotto does, but he could stymy Floyd with some feints, and jump in, and out catching him with that lead left.

We have a winner! Good post, Floyd and pac are two different animals with different styles, pac may knock cotto down, thats the way he fights, fast quick hard combos at awkward angles, great power and great speed.

Floyds one of the best if not the best defensive fighters in the game, grat ring smarts and iq, good footwork and positioning, a counterpuncher with great speed and accuracy.

I dont see why pc koing cotto and floyd not means anything atall, styles do make fights, mays ability to adjust and correct during fights is a+. At this moment he beats pac imo, hes just to smart with the speed he has and his defense too. He could read pac and adjust. Although it would be a great fight!! Close fight for sure.

No watch the ortiz fight... it would go like that but PAC not so agressive..

PAC will be on the ground if he wants to be agressive, he can't inside fight, and he can't outbox mayweather on the mid to outside range. Unless JR teaches PAC how to fight on the inside and corner him then yeah.. but nope PAC needs his space.. and doesn't have the physical streght to push May back and keep him there.

 

Yup. . . Just like their performances against marquez doesn't really tell us who wins (Mayweather is not just a "super Marquez" - Marquez does a lot of things differently). . .


And because Pac beat Cotto much more convincingly, and was able to hit him a lot easier, doesn't mean Pac will beat Floyd.


Pac/Floyd is still a very unique style matchup for BOTH fighters. . . Neither of them have seen anything like the other.

 

Listen, I`ve got no time for pac OR floyd but your only here to troll & act the ****, no neutral/non biased fan that understands boxing would make pac a favourite over fmj.

I really hope this fight happens just so people like you will stop all this bull**** once pac gets beat decisively.
