Other than Castillo? (Edit to add bold)

Zab won 3 at best; 4 if you want to be generous.

2 of the judges gave Hoya more than 4 rounds; but the general consensus is that Mayweather won 8-4.

Cotto, as game as he was, was beaten 118-110 or 117-111 (10-2 or 9-3).

In 43 fights, 8 world titles, 5 weight classes - he's dominated pretty much every opponent.

And that includes HOF'ers like: Dela Hoya, Mosley, Cotto, JMM and if they make it Hatton, Castillo, Corrales, G Hernandez and possibly even Gatti (who I think will eventually make it based purely on his action-packed fights) and Judah.

Not to mention 18 former/future/current world champions.

That really is 15 years of domination.

And considering he's an UNDEFEATED 8 time world champ in 5 weight classes, who's beaten 18 former/future/current world champs, along with a long list of HOF'ers - you have to appreciate what we're seeing.

    15 years of domination.

I had Oscar winning 4 rounds and one round even..

    I scored Mayweather-Cotto 8-3-1 even.

It doesn't matter what you gave him. The judges, commentators, reporters and most respectable fans gave Cotto 3 rounds; some 2.

I have seen a few 8-4 scorecards, but that's still not more than 4 rounds.

There's no way in hell Cotto won 5. But that'a a different topic - so lets not got there.

It's an appreciation on what Floyd has achieved. 8 world titles, 5 weight classes, 18 former/future/current world champs, numerous HOF'ers - and he's done it all while undefeated and not losing more than 4 rounds against any opponent (other than Castillo).

I think that's amazing. And something that boxing fans must appreciate.

And something that HISTORY will remember.

    :good

I like that, coming from a May fan.

But still - the question is more than 4 rounds.

Even though most people believe the Oscar fight was 8-4, your scorecard still doesn't have Oscar winning more than 4 rounds. An even round is not a winning round.

    More than 4 rounds.

ETA: I'll edit the thread title to make it more clear.

JLC. . . If we're going on popular opinion, rather than official cards, definietly JLC. .

I think he clearly won 7 rounds, and u could argue he won 8. . . Not only did he outland Floyd, but he landed at a HIGHER PERCENTAGE. . Think he landed like 230 some punches @ like a 37% connect rate.

You're right. But I said "other than Castillo". Castillo certainly won 5 rounds against Mayweather, twice (but imo, lost both times - again, a topic to be discussed elsewhere). But you are certainly correct.
