Same here. I used to get annoyed with him, but I find him entertaining now. Love his rants on LeBron James. He said he wasn't a top 5 player in the league

Watched it. Skip is probably the most clueless sports analyst I have ever heard speak when it comes to Boxing.

When a guy is paid to do that job on ESPN how can he be so blatantly ignorant. The funny thing is he doesn't look at all like he believes in anything he's saying. He just knows it gets under Steven A's skin so that is why he does it.

You know what was worse though. Did anybody catch they're discussion on Floyd/Cotto before the weekend.

*No opinions on who they thought would win the fight.
*No discussion on Canelo's 1st true test/Shane's last stand.
*No in-depth discussion about pros & cons for each boxer in the main event.

None whatsoever. Jay Crawford brought the Floyd/Miguel fight and they wanna talk about the one fight people are still waiting for. I was disgusted. I'm like, how about we concentrate on the fight that is actually happening and save that for another day. It's pathetic and I really wish they would refrain for speaking on the sport because they are clueless. But I guess any exposure to Boxing is good exposure, so whatever.

I'd love to see an Indonesian style game show, where Skip Bayless and Mike Tyson are sat side by side and asked trivia and fundamentals questions about boxing.

When I watched it live I scored it a draw... I admit I gave every close round to Cotto.. I re-watched it and I had it 7 rounds to 5 for Floyd. At the end of the day Floyd did just enough to win. Floyd didn't dominate at all... Alot of competitive rounds.

 

Thats not true IB.. Floyd may be older than Miguel but Cotto has been in many wars! Cotto has much more wear and tear than Floyd Jr.

Love watching Skip when Stephen Smith is on. He makes Skip look even more ******ed than Skip makes himself look, and thats saying alot.

 

this is the same guy that thinks Tim Tebow is a top 5 QB.....nuff said
