    That's right a 50/50 fight.

    I'm a fan of both, but I don't believe anybody would beat Rafa because of him being complete package of a fighter not until I saw him being hit so much in the second fight. :-(

    It's Rafa via UD or Vasquez via T/KO . . . I'm picking the latter.

    Vasquez seemed to get the better outta the 2 fights (hes been the more natural) but maruez has the punch, Ima go with MARQUEZ Ko in 9!!!! FOTY!!

    Well... the greatest Mexican warriors had dozens of very hard fights just remember how many Barrera and Morales had - even before they became the most well known warriors of boxing. But 3 fights are enough. May the better man win!

    These two are the best fighters to have shared a ring in 2007 and it had to do with the weight class - plenty of action like in MAB-Morales I, Ayala-Tapia, Pac-JMM - but also with the commitment to the fight, the war spirit and the stoicism... Yes, I think they are underrated because of the weight class and the nationality/language issues. Rafa, Izzy, Guerrero, Linares, Gamboa, all these fighters mean much more to me than the others. Rafa was a favorite according to Showtime's viewers the first and the second time (77% of the voters) and I don't think that has to do only with his fan base.

    Vazquez lost the first fight because of his nose, won the second fight by TKO. I think he could win the 3rd fight but it is hard to count Rafa out.

    You see the way I see. Rafa and Izzy are the present, there are few boxers above them on the P4P rankings today... And Linares and Gamboa are the future.

    This is going to be the FOTY…

    I think the third fight will be a more tactical affair than the second fight, much like pavlik and taylor's second fight was much more tactical -albeit still entertaining- than their first encounter

    even if it goes to a decision, i feel like vasquez has too much *physically* over marquez in terms of strength and size... marquez is supremely talented and a pleasure to watch but it is clear from the previous fights that he cannot handle vasquez's power... so i see it as being much more of a cagey affair (ala pavlik taylor 2) with marquez winning a good number of rounds and vasquez slowly imposing his will and physical superiority
