Will HBO bother with a Hopkins/Calzaghe 24/7 ??

It would be fun, but I don't think they'll be doing one. Like you pointed out, they only do it for PPV's (well really there's only been 2 of them and both included PBF). Most of the time they don't even do a countdown show unless it's a PPV (Pavlik/Taylor I is the only non-PPV I can think of that had a 1/2 hour count down show).

I don't think they will but they should. Bernard the ''evil'' trash talking ghetto guy and Joe the good looking ''good'' guy with a great story ( Bernard has a great story also ). I think it would be highly entertaining.

 

You've got it backwards. Nard is the good guy American champion. Calzaghe is the evil Euro challenger.:good

 

24/7 would be so entertaining but they probably won't do it. I love to hear Hopkins talk and i want to know more about Calzaghe.

I hope they do a 24/7 so we can see a bit of personal history of each fighter. I enjoy seeing their hometown abodes and how they grew up! It's great stuff.

 

It would be a great way for americans to see who Calzaghe really is and give him the exposure he deserves.

Hope they do it. Setanta preview shows in the UK are not as good as skys coverage though. Last two have been on sky and given the big build up.
