Haye vows to bring the pain to Chisora , 8 May 2012 This content is protected This content is protected David Haye has said he will inflict as much damage to Dereck Chisora by embarrassing him in a “slow, concussive beating”. It has been confirmed that David Haye will fight Dereck Chisora in a controversial British grudge match at West Ham United’s Upton Park on July 14. Both fighters have been granted a boxing license by the Luxembourg Boxing Federation after the British Boxing Federation would not sanction the bout. Haye had not got a license after he retired following his loss to World Boxing Organisation (WBO) heavyweight champion Vladimir Klitschko last June. Chisora had his license to fight removed after a brawl between the pair at a press conference following Chisora’s loss to Vitali Klitschko back in February. Many boxing experts believed the two men should never be allowed to enter a boxing ring again after the disgraceful scenes were captured by the world’s media. During the brawl Chisora stated that he was going to shoot David Haye. The pair had a press conference at Upton Park on Tuesday and both parties were separated by a seven foot steel fence, adding to the drama and entertainment. Both men exchanged insults at each other while being surrounded by a number of huge body guards. Haye said. “I am so glad he has got a good chin because if he didn’t have a good chin he would be blasted out in first round. This means I will give him a nice, slow, concussive beating. I tried to knock him out in Munich and this is the opportunity to shut him up.” Chisora angrily replied by saying; “I don’t like him. David, you need to get style. Your corn rows are out of fashion. Talk is cheap now. That was a lucky shot he hit me with in Munich. David: you are winning 1-0 but come July I am coming to whoop your ass. Your talk is cheap. You always talk but you don’t deliver in the ring.”
I have to agree with the above 2 posters, with what we have seen from Haye, this may be what happens!
Haye will be on the back foot but that doesn't mean he won't stop Chisora and inflict damage upon him.
Haye isn't the type that "brings the pain". We aren't exactly talking about Julio Caesar Chavez here. He may win the fight, but it will be from his usual counter-punchers style He might also get swarmed - could be rusty after a year out, his injuries and the fact that he is in his thirties now.
Haye fights on the backfoot like many great fighters of the past. He will put on a beating against Chisora- something Quitali wasnt able to do. Typical racist Poles they have no problem if a white man fights defensivly and on the back foot but if a proud black man does it, oh no cant be havin that.
Don't bring race into a good thread *******. Comment about your thoughts, not your racist thoughts or **** OFF!
David will win this fight if the Chisora that fought Fury shows up. If not, I think that David will quit sometime during the fight if he can't lure Chisora into a DQ. The quitting will take the form of an "injury" most likely.
Pretty clear you are white. Im black and sick and tired of poles mouthing off at Haye for clear racisim reasons. I will not apologise for sticking up for my race.
