How I would want Carl Froch to fight Lucian Bute (Technical thread)

I think Froch should keep out of range of Bute, making him become the aggressor, I think this will actually nullify Bute's power - being on the front foot as opposed to him walking an over excited and clumsy Froch onto something big (left uppercut). Froch is gonna need a really strong jab from the outside, not just flicking it out multiple times but solid single jabs followed by right hands, mixing it up from the body to head often. Froch is also going to need to set this pace from the opening bell, right to the last, sticking his boxing skills on Bute early could upset the rhythm of the away fighter, I reckon it could all go down hill from there.

 

This should be a fun fight to watch if I can find any American TV outlet broadcasting it. Great analysis as always, SJS. I think Bute will take a decision but I would love to see Froch take it to Bute.

 

The only way I see Froch beat Bute is by taking risks and opening the machine early in the fight with the hope of catching Bute with something big. Otherwise, if he lets Bute establish his beat and take the center of the ring, then it's over and out. On the other hand, it's not a very good idea to start going gong ho on Bute, because it will leave you open for the leathal left uppercut to the liver or rib cage or chin...it's not easy winning against Bute...:bbb

This fight would be the best fight we'll be seeing on our whole life. Just think about it. After they remove their respective belts and then fight in the ring, BAM! We could wish this fight could be a 15-rd fight.

Nice to see a post than don't contain of people saying mayweather this manny that good work, but I think Carl have had to many hard fights and I also think he looked dry at the weigh in against ward, I expect bute to win even know I think bute is a bottom feeder
