The problem with all the shite Dana chats is his UFC zombies believe it all. More Indians watch the IPL alone than ALL viewers worldwide for ANY UFC event. And thats just cricket. Football figures are insane. Neck in neck with soccer? Seriously what tree stump does this guy smoke? He'll say ANYTHING to promote his brand. May be he's pissed because NY gave him the finger again. The cold reality is MMA much less for the UFC isn't half as big as fans think it is. And its growth will not be exponential from here on out.

While Lorenzo clearly plays an important role, I think you'd struggle to find one person who deals with Zuffa who would go along with the idea that Dana isn't the driving force behind the company. The idea Dana's this figurehead who doesn't do anything is completely the opposite of the real problem - that the guy's a control freak who's seeking to do too much and due to overwork is starting to make silly mistakes.

Im sure he has a say, especially in the day to day running of things ie media, dealing with fighters, overseeing live events ect But it's pretty clear it's Lorenzo who's steering the ship long term. TV deals, marketing strategy, fighters contracts, expanding into new territories, you know, the stuff that makes money Listen to the video Will, he says it himself

 

Dana's been making 'silly' mistakes for years. He chooses to 'over work' himself. Who has a dog and barks themself? Don't make excuses for the guy. The Fertittas 'run' that outfit.
