but why would he have requested vada? that's a pretty big gamble just to assume they wouldn't pop in with a random for the first 4-6 weeks of training camp. .

Cycling is mainly a European sport, but yes; Americans can be good at it too

True but that guy has been villified for years and continues to be so. Britains record and stance on steroids is second to none.

    Agreed.

I don't see why random testing and the most stringent testing isn't used for all fights.

For one it's a good cover to fall back on if he is caught.

Could also just be arrogance. In my profession I see people "failing" clinical tests all the time, even when they're adamant they'd "pass" it. Not to mention all the idiots who turn up on shows like Jeremy Kyle and fail the lie detector tests.

To be honest, I don't see why any fighter in a position like Peterson before the first fight wouldn't dope. They have nothing to lose and everything to gain. They can get a potentially advantage over an opponent who isn't doping...what have they got to lose?

And even if they are caught, so what? He may be sued but not like he's going to be going to prison or anything. He may be suspended but a 9 month ban is a joke. A lot of boxers take that much time out between fights anyway.

Seems like their team is panicking and making stupid statements. The last thing Id want to do is tie in this debacle.with the last fight.. Id distance this issue with the first as much as possible

Cheaterson got his payday for the first fight so i doubt he'll be sleeping rough anymore, hence the emotional motivation for his trainer wont have much affect! I was really looking forward to this fight as well!!

    $10k per fighter is why.

No good if your only getting paid $5k.
