Yeah but antibiotics kill your body's good bacteria too, leavin u weak. Also, I wonder why in the first Andrade fight, no one have talked about the supposed infection and now this.... For me they just prepare the field for the next week breaking news ''fight will be delayed'' Hope I'm wrong but......
Laouche said that if there is any doubt what so ever that Bute might not be at 100% on fight night the fight will be postponed. No way they are taking any chances after the Andrade 1 fight.
If they had known what they know now I don't think they would have went on with the Andrade 1 fight. That's why nobody talked about it back then and they are talking about it now. Froch doesn't come with the same opposition as Andrade either....can't neglect that !!
Who knows if they would have talked about it if Boxinginsider hadn't written their paper? Beside, I agree that they learned that making things public is not always a bad thing. I had myself antibiotics for a skin infection 3 times and I never felt weak like when it's prescribed for a throat infection, for example. Of course, I'm not an elite athlete having to be at his peak on the 26th of May.
In the first Andrade fight, Bute was weakened by anemia successive to blood poisoning. Dissimilarity aside, I find very unprofessional for Bute & his team to let a blister evolve up to the point they have to undergo a treatment with antibiotics. For a team who managed to get Rachel's yells on tape, it is highly amazing to put at risk the match for this kind of reasons (be they medically justified), they should have been more careful with all meaningful details before considering the less relevant ones. You just don't keep training in a new pair of shoes if you notice some incipient pain in the toes, it is crucial. For the sake of sport, I still hope this incident won't affect Bute's physical condition for May 26th.
yup...:happy:happy Jean Bedard ‏ @jeanbedardcage Just spoke to Stephan Larouche. Lucian is fine and ready for May 26th.thumbsup
You're hard on Interbox on that one. A skin infection can evolve very fast. I had once a very small redness on a finger when I went to bed. When I awoke, my finger was swelling and hurting. The time I got to the doctor, it was 3 times its normal volume. Bute had the infection on Saturday and they went to the hospital the same day. Having a blister is routine for boxers. You can't go to the hospital each time you have one.
it's the exact quote of Bedard from twiter "Just spoke to Stephan Larouche. Lucian is fine and ready for May 26th." asked by prosport Bute said there is nothing to worry about; immediately after we're hearing about an infection. It was probably an easy blister but Interbox capitalized on it and made a little noise . This fight isn't as hyped as it should be.
You don't know Interbox to think they could make up such a thing. :bart A skin infection goes fast with the proper treatment.
