It was a URINE SAMPLE that tested positive, NOT a blood sample. .

Yes, the testing was not done by NSAC, it was done by VADA.

This. And it wasn't caught with normal commission testing. The commission did not catch it. VADA caught it.

#1. Vada caught him. Not any regular commission testing.
#2. Because a steroid was caught in a urine test (which is supposed to happen) we shouldn't have blood tests (that catch hormone growth)? What kind of dumb ass thinking is that? :blood :patsch

LOL khan had to face the usual american BS biased officials as well as a BS ref and on top of that was fighting a self righteous PED juicer in his backyard, hhhhmmm nice

Just reinforces the need for more stringent random testing but hell if they cant even get officials to do a fair job i dont have much faith in them getting the testing fully cleaned up, until the money trail is cleaned up and is more transparent these types of, what looks like was a disasterous fight for the sport, will happen again

Im sure there will be all the usual stuff like, it must have been my steak i ate, and no way lamont would do this etc showing up, it always does

Looks like peterson was caught with his pants down at the press conference and his plan got rumbled, maybe there is another explanation but i doubt it

man...you've said so many bs since you've appeared.

in that period and time (new year's eve 2009) NSAC did a random test on pacquiao and mayweather. no trace whatsoever of any PED found on pacquiao or floyd.

Now we know where his fantastic recovery and stamina was coming from :yep

Bit ironic that it was someone from pacs camp who didnt test positive but salt of the earth peterson who did, wonder what the boys think of that?

Im sure there are other people doing stuff, testing really needs to be beefed up even more no matter what the officials etc say, people are taking stuff, no doubt, we may be suprised who they are

He said unlimited urine, anytime, anywhere. It has always been the blood, that was the issue, he didn't like giving blood too close to the fight.

Anyways Peterson just got caught, so get off Pacquiao's back. Why don't you condemn the cheater?

Urine has always been the test that catches cheaters, I don't think they've caught anyone thru blood.

Khans not a devestating puncher but petersons stamina was very impressive, easy to say after the event but im sure these substances do make a substantial difference, or else they wouldnt be risked

Strange that peterson felt that because of the controversy and point deductions in the fight that somehow his win was tainted, he musta had a smile inside his head coming out with this one......

Would Peterson have been caught if Mayweather hadn't made drug testing in boxing such a big issue?

    Personally I don't think so.

For PEDs urine testing is better than blood testing. PEDs stays in urine longer than in blood.
