you're nuts, re-watch the fight and score it again it could easily be 117, 116, or as low as 115, pavlik clerly won, and to lennox lewis, "look at the state of his Face!" pavlik was parrying way many of taylors flashy no damage punches!
Kelly didnt need sunglasses, what good would they have done, his whole head was welts and bruises, but whatever. everyone saw a close fight.
i dont think Pavlik clearly won, but there were close rounds so i see how different people scored it one way or the other. like i said, Paliks face looked more ****ed up then jermain, so i dont think thats a good indicator.
In the post fight press conference Lou dibella, Taylor's promoter, said he scored the fight 116-112 Pavlik. That should pretty much close this imiaginary controversy. Boo
I think they were watching some other fight. The punch stats were very much in favor of Pavlik. Pavlik kept pushing Taylor back the entire fight, he made the fight, landed the harder punches, outjabbed Taylor, etc.
I had a lot of rounds pretty close but it came down to 115-113 in favour of Pavlik. I had them both sharing the scores at about round ten with Pavlik taing the last two. After the fight I felt maybe I was abit unfair to Pavlik and that my scores were too tight. I still would not have been surprised at a SD but would have never have thought Taylor did enough for the win. Both looked good but it does not look good for Taylor if he his intent on moving up in weight. He is too much of a short ass. The American commentators did my ****ing head in with they're constant **** ass talk. Total gobshites. I turned the sound down very low in the end.
