In his latest performance, is there any motivation for him to fight or fear Pacquiao in the future because he failed to stopped Cotto?

He was unable to stop Judah which Cotto was able to do, and we saw what happened when Cotto fought Floyd.

He hurt Cotto many times but could not finish him because of the injured left hand.Cotto's legs were also stronger because he wasn't drained to 145lbs

Because floyd is a defensive fighter, he was able to hurt cotto by being aggressive so he still has pretty good power even at 154.

He hasn't knocked down anyone for sometime. Excluding Ortiz which was different. Probably why he wanted lighter gloves. So could try and get a K.O or at least a KD

I was thinking the same thing, Cotto was all over the place in round 12 and i got the feeling that Floyd actually carried him over the line. I think he could've finished him, but chose not too.

With the exception of Mosley, in his last 5 fights he has either hurt or knocked down every opponent. Imo trying to KO an elite fighter at 154 with 10 ounce gloves is a very tall order.

Apart from ortiz only Hatton. He clearly out boxed the rest not taking that away from him. KO's are not something which can be expected from him even at 147. He can do it, but he's not a big puncher. But wearing guys down then scoring a knock out is possible. Another reason is also because he's not a combination puncher.

Because Cotto wasn't cooperating with getting knocked out & was punching back & HARD.
