Sonny Boy Jaro TKO6 Pongsaklek Wonjongkam

...in what will certainly be 2012's Upset of the Year. New lineal flyweight champ in Sonny Boy Jaro. Props to Jaro for the multiple knockdown KO of a top 10 all time flyweight great. I hope Pong doesn't retire.

I've got to think Viloria, H. Marquez, Mthalane, and Segura are foaming at the mouth in anticipation. All four of those would be awesome and significant fights. It wouldn't be bad for Roman Gonzalez to leap up to 112 to snag the lineal title even to then go back down to 108 for another couple fights. I doubt that happens, but that would be a boost to the legacy and likely give him global recognition via P4P ranking.

You so, so deserved this. I didn't because my Kirk picks suffered and I'm suave as balls but you deserved it competely.

How the frick does Chocolatito fight and I don't know about it? I guess he fought a ten round non-title bout to tuneup for his next title fight in April against Hirales who's coming off a loss of his own WBO light flyweight title but never been stopped. Maybe Gonazlez can get him out of there. I wish he'd move up and could get a fight with Tyson. Gonzalez did get a first round knockout in his tuneup if you guys haven't heard.

Any news on whether Pong is retiring or getting a rematch? Calderon is challenging for his old title in April. I think he's done but I'm pulling for him.

Kompayak Poorpramook, who was involved in, and won, my personal choice for 2011 FOTY, is scheduled to face 12-1-1 Jonathan Taconing of the Phillipines, should Lightning get by his March 25 tune-up. We can only hope that this match-up produces a fight that is half as good as the Poorpramook-Hernandez fight, should it occur.

so I can say how garbage it is and how amazing I am for figuring it out so no one will give me any props whatsoever.

I hope he doesn't catch what Proksa caught. They're not hanging out together by any chance are they?

Yes. Little Man posters, it's been a while. But we have something to get genuinely excited about with important minimumweight history. A WBC/WBA Minimumweight unification. And one of them looks like a preppy Japanese assassin. Suave as balls. Check it.
