Overrated Margarito

Here is their proof for the Cotto fight its very obvious he had a crack in his wraps :roll: This picture here shuts down that whole he cheated with Cotto and proves Cotto is a liar, there was clearly someone in Margaritos locker room that night and this picture proves it and if you have ever had your wraps inspected by an inspector you know exactly why I say this picture proves someone was in the dressing room from Camp Cotto

He was caught and charged with attempting to load his gloves. Then came back and got his ass whooped the next 3 quality fighters he has fought. He would get the benifit of the doubt if he came back strong but he didn't. Why should a man who attempted to cheat be shown respect? And if he was as good as people claimed then why even attempt to cheat vs Mosley who was passed it and then get completely destroyed by a passed it Mosley. Wasn't even a competitive fight to even say that ok Margo lost but at least it was a close fight.

 

This is it, alot of fans like to jump on the bandwagon without really understanding the situation or the evidence.

 

There is a reason Mosley looked so good in that fight after losing to Cotto and then going life and death with Mayorga... The NSAC knew that reason... but California didn't seem to care to find it out... strange how after that fight he's gone back to life and death with Mayorga level

 

None of this proves that he cheated against Cotto.

Again, the people who claim he cheated against Cotto are simply doing it to giv him an excuse. There is absolutely nothing to even suggest he cheated in Nevada against Cotto. (The Shane fight was in California)

 

But I have also noticed with this new clear shot of the wrap after the Cotto fight people who say he cheated with Cotto avoid addressing this all together.

What you have is a felt pen marker not a crack, and if you follow the path you notice it starts at one strip of tape over the knuckle area to the other strip of tape.

thats basically an inspector ensuring no tape was directly over Margaritos knuckle which would make that an illegal wrap, so what that means is someone from the Cotto camp pointed this out to an inspector as a concern, who else is going to have the inspector make sure no tape is over Tonys knuckle? sure as **** wont be Camp Margarito

 

Margarito didn't cheat against Cotto, he tried against Mosley but got caught, he's not a cheater, just a poor attempt at being one

 

Facts are facts, the Mosley fight, everybody knew after the Cotto fight Margarito was over celebrating that win he put on alot of weight, came into camp at 170 with a few weeks to make the weight.

The findings in the wraps well lets just say this there was never a block as Nazim said a block fell out, and when the lab turned up results it was Minor Trace elements, now if your going to load your gloves wouldnt you need more than just trace elements?

And you may also want to make sure you have the right ingrediants, they found Sulfar and Calcium which is NOT found in plaster paris, what is found in plaster paris is Calcium Sulfate BIG DIFFERENCE.

But this is also why the DA declined to proceed with criminal charges, and Top Ranks Attorney wanted and requested an independent source to re examine the wraps so that they can present their findings as well suddenly those wraps vanished.

in other words we do not have proof that he cheated, we dont even have proof that he tried to cheat what we do know is that his trainer was running late for that event didnt bring gauze to the dressing room and used a set of gauze that was already on the table, who put them there? thats my question.

but aside of that, its like I said earlier you would need much more than trace elements and you might want to make sure you have the right ingredients if your trying to use plaster paris.

I mean Floyd Mayweather was caught using gloves that had Patten leather on the thumb area, how many times has he done this before and gotten away with it?

 

Margarito gets SHUT OUT vs Floyd...KO def not...but he gets shut out.

Yes i agree would have liked to see to actualy get a real answer but i do not see anything that Margo does that well but take punches...with all the props we give Floyd and his skills you mean to tell me he can't figure out Margarito? We know Floyd has the stamina to go 12 and keep moving at the time of the fight discussion then...so i dont know why some of you think Margarito would beable to land these slow wide shots enough to remotely wear Floyd down.

He is easily outboxed..this styles make fights statement doesnt not hold up with Margo/Floyd...Margo didnt even jab comming in...he just took punches...his defense is terrible....and he is a slow plodder at that when closing.....Floyd would land at will and pot shot all night and would not be there for any return for Margo.

This would be an EXTREMELY boring fight because Floyd would have to make it that but HE HAS ALL THE TOOLS TO DO THAT and would. Then you would be mad he gave you a PPV SNOOSFEST!!

floyd does some his best work on the ropes too, while frustrating his opponents by rolling most of their attempts

tell me, when was the last time you saw floyd hit with a clean uppercut? its not happening against slow ass cheato

cheato has great stamina, but so does floyd

floyds opponents dont mainain their usual volume of punches against him ... and you forgot to mention that cheato is slow as **** and floyd would roll him all day

i dont think may would have stopped him, but he would have busted him up with speed and accuracy

this is why they didnt fight, but dont let the facts get in the way of a good story ...

cheato does not have the stlye to beat floyd ... he has an avg jab, is slow, and would not be able to cut may off

people dont quantify floyds in fight adjustments when assessing fantasy matchups. cheato is a basic come forward fighter and floyd would figure him out quite easily, imo ... floyd would actually be opening up and throwing combos in the late rounds against this dude

 

Great point about the weight issue for the Mosley bout, just look at the photos/videos as the fight drew closer, Margarito was looking extremely gaunt, and even on fight night look at his body he doesnt look rehydrated and strong he looks like hes killed himself to get there (which he did) combine that with the confusion of the wraps and Mosley putting on a performance of a lifetime you have a number of reasons for a poor performance.

 

That explains why I can break down the Cotto Wrap the findings through the CSAC while you can only seem to come up with **** like this... :roll:

 

Osuna of ESPN FNFs reported the weight issue the following friday on ESPN everybody seemed to ignore that. we know why though

 

Margarito was/is not a cheater, in reality he is the cheated.
