Well, that's 3 out of his last 4 fights, and 3 out of 5 since he moved permanently to heavyweight. :good

In other words : HE's BEEN PRETTY **** AND VERY BORING AS A HEAVYWEIGHT more often than not.

People have been won over by his bull****, for some reason.
Maybe he's like Derren Brown or something, mass hypnotism .....

At the end of the day everyone is looking forward to the fight, it will be good to watch so who gives a **** about boards etc, I like watching good fights not interested in boxing politics, **** the board let's just look forward the fight!

It started with the Klitschko t-shirts and rapidly went downhill from there. He's capable of a lot worse bad behavior and will sink further in many people's eyes before he finally retires.

The fact he couldn't even apologize for what happened in Germany tells a lot about his character.

He's also a liar when he professes about how he fights. After he puts on another shite performance some people might finally see through him.

Never has a fighter talked his way into so many big money fights while performing so mundanely. If he had fought in the States he would have been consigned to the dust bin long ago.

    Look at who he fought..

    1) a lumbering giant of a man who would just lie on top of you if he got the chance.
    2) a guy who turned up for a paycheck, refused to throw a punch and lay down the first time he was hit.
    3) a guy who has dominated the HW scene for a long time, has size and reach advantage on him and guess what? didn't do that well against Haye despite the scorecards.

So the next fight along is Barrett, a guy more suitable for providing an entertaining fight ... was that a boring fight too?

I must admit that this part does disappoint me about him.

Whatever he says about 'self-defence', he was at the press conference shouting from the floor and directing negative comments at Chisora.

It does surprise me that he seems so reluctant to apologise in any way for his part in proceedings :huh

Theres lots I agree with in this post but theres NO WAY I'd apologize for what happened in Germany if I was Haye. That was down to Chisora.

I've got to say that as an impartial fan I thought the tactics Wladimir used against Haye were excellent, I was so impressed with how he just did not allow Haye to get close (well for most of the fight). I thought Wladimir won just about every round, and made Haye look very ordinary.

The Barrett fight was good though, exciting, and well matched:good

Chisora was a disgrace to boxing in Germany in so many ways, and I'm convinced he knew for sure what he was doing when he approached Haye.

I'm also pretty sure that if Haye hadn't struck first, Chisora would have, so accept the self defence excuse.

However, I'm not asking Haye to apologise to Chisora, he doesn't owe him one, but he does owe the fans/public an apology IMO.

It was an embarassing incident and he did look bad, don't forget he did throw puches at Chisora's trainer and then the infamous tripod incident.

Self defence is using reasonable and justifiable force, I do think he stepped over the line after the initial punches:bbb

In what way will this harm boxing? Quite the opposite, it's revived the public's interest in the sport. So by your logic, we shouldn't have re-licensed Tyson after he came out of jail? Or Hopkins? :patsch

The fight won't be ****. Chisora is a hard-working, come forward fighter and he's also not a 6' 8" guy who dominates behind a huge jab so there's no incentive for Haye to dance around landing the odd flurry like he did against Valuev and Wlad. Did you even watch him at cruiserweight?

Regardless of who started it and whether it was self defense etc Haye could easily say:

'what happened in Gemany was deeply regrettable and this is not the type of thing I want to be associated with as a professional boxer. It was a bad night for boxing even though I felt I was defending myself. It would have been much better if this instance just never happened'.

Instead we keep getting a load of neanderthal bull**** that is a terrible advertisement for boxing and almost encourages young men to brawl in the street. He's being irresponsible as well as being an *******.

For me he got threatened and dealt with it, I wouldn't criticize an extra couple of punches (or a flying tripod!) in that situation.
