    Yes, he's a ****. 90% of people on here will tell you he's a ****, myself included.

Does being a **** warrant being banned from a sport for life? No.

What Margarito did was far more repellent and damaging to the sport than anything either Haye or Chisora have ever done.

Easy to say its "regardless" but its not, it? Chisora DID start it and it WAS self defence on Hayes part.

I guess he could have released a bog standard press statement to that effect. I don't see that it would have made much (any?) difference.

I don't buy that either. People have their own minds. Tom and Jerry cartoons don't make kids hit cats over the head with mallets and Haye didn't make young men hit each other.

You can't compare Haye to Tyson. Tyson is one of the most exciting fighters of all time and was possibly the most famous man on the planet. The demand for Tyson was understandable. Why people want to watch Haye makes no sense to me.

Haye will still be afraid of Chisora's power and will fight cautiously. Haye has always been a low work rate fighter who fights off the back foot. He isn't going to change now.

Chisora just isn't that good. I see a boring fight where Haye takes a decision.

Let's see how soon we see Lamont Peterson back in the ring then we can talk about fighters being treated unfairly for their actions outside the ring.

I'm an old ****er and was never a battler even when I was younger but those situations usually go one of 2 ways depending on whether you get in first and finish it. Haye got in first and finished it...;-)

Well, people do want to watch him. Banning him because he's a boring fighter is just silly.

Chisora is feather-fisted, nothing for Haye to worry about there. Besides, Chisora will come forward and attack a lot more than Wlad or Valuev did, so the fight won't be a boring one. I reckon Chisora wins late TKO or decision.

By artificially creating a period in which to analyse his achievements ('since he moved permanently to heavyweight'), you are able to make such sensationalist claims as

... whilst an objective commentator would've have conceded that the Bonin bout was exciting (whilst referencing Tomasz's massive shortcomings), and come to the reasonable conclusion that Haye has been involved in an equal amount of dull/exciting bouts, which isn't a particularly flattering statement considering the amount of bold promises he's made.

In short, you've clearly got an agenda, which is preventing you from assessing his achievements with any fairness.

I thought Haye came across very badly in the interview. My feeling listening to it was he should just let it go. He spent minutes talking about stomping on people's heads and how he is a violent man.

    He's got a violent mouth alright.

I honestly think he has no shame. I was cringing like mad when he did his BBC Breakfast interview after he was thoroughly beaten by Wlad.

The BBBofC work with Sauerland apparently, and they are running their shows using an outside organization where an "established body already exists".
