Calzaghe has been fighting through huge difficulties put in front of him since he defended his title against Reid, was hurt and knockdown by the likes of Byron Mitchell, Salem, and even in his last fights, in the very first round, against Hopkins and RJJ, but he came through with his incredible heart and I am not particularly a fan but I like the guy. Floyd had everything staged for him even his title shot against Genaro Hernandez with Papa Floyd Sr and uncle Jeff, then and after those SFW fights with highlight against Corrales of course, he had this team of uncle Roger, "The Black mamba" who was clearly a better boxer than his dad, Big L and Rafael Garcia. Roy didn't need nothing of that and even with some problems winning his IBF title 8 rounds to 4 on all three judges cards on the undercard of Bowe-Fergunson in D.C. 1993 and against Hopkins who was the number one contender under Butch Lewis, Michael Spinks and having Smokin' Joe at ringside, he never had any other problems through MW, SMW even with James Toney, LHWT even against Mike McCallum and winning that WBA HWT title against Ruiz, the rest was his downfall and father time and his unorthodox style combined...

    None.

Mayweather and Jones displayed total domination over their opposition. Physically, mentally and tactically. (Which is often over looked.)

Calzaghe's style gave judges EVERY reason to score for him, if you're looking for decision wins then he really was perfect. He also had under rated ring smarts, fantastic adaptability and a solid iron chin.

Roy Jones Junior would not of walked over Joe Calzaghe had they met in their primes, no way.

    Something people will over look.

Calzaghe proved things in his prime, such as chin, heart and an iron will. (Fighting with multiple hand injuries.)

It's a double edged sword as he wasn't as skilled as Jones and Mayweather as to the point where he didn't need too, however; he's the only one of the three who's shown those attributes at his peak. (Make no mistake, they are attributes.)

Mayweather comes second in this 'intangibles' category, with Jones third. (Though we can't really blame him for being so far ahead of his competition that we never got to see.)
