If Castillo already beat Floyd, Chavez, the greatest Mexican boxer would have done
    a lot better.

Aslong as he wasn't injured Floyd would with his incredible speed and reflexes would outbox and outhink a game Chavez.

Taylor was undefeated and as speedy as Floyd and chavez ko him.
I compare this fight with Floyd vs Castillo but Castillo is a weaker version of Chavez.

    Rubbish.

Taylor was quick but he didn't fight like a Boxer, he was too fond of slugging it out and fighting like a philly fighter. He didn't use his great speed to his advantage, Mayweather does.

140lb Floyd was much quicker then he was at 147lb or 154lb and he was defensively sound (as he still is) something Taylor never was, also Mayweather is miles ahead of Taylor in comparison.

Chavez takes this 8-4. This is an easy figt to predict as we have already seen mayweather lose to a style ljke chavez but chavez is a much better fighter than castillo.

Mayweather 4 times out of 5. If Taylor boxed smart he would of comfortably won. Mayweather beat Castillo; twice. Once irrefutably. Chavez would fight like a Hatton 2.0 and get countered countinously as he tries to get into range.

First fight was close but injured Floyd still edged it

I could see this being a trilogy.

With JC winning the first one.

And Floyd taking the next two.

Chavez would beat floyd, he beat every fighter he ever faced in his prime at this weight & was only troubled once by Meldrick Taylor, a guy who is a fair bit faster than floyd but fights nothing like floyd stylewise... & JCC got to him eventually. Chavez is simply too active & relentless for floyd to outscore & has the ATG level skill, defense & technique (unlike Castillo) to go with the nightmare style.

Chavez by UD in a (forced) war.

Early reign - Chavez close but clear.

Late reign - Floyd close, possibly a debatable sort of decision.

I favor Chavez below 140. At 140, I give a slight edge to Floyd to win by decision. His guard is extremely powerful.

Taylor was without doubt faster than floyd & he threw blistering combinations, crazy flurries of punches that floyd never even did at 130 when he was most active offensively... it was this ability that scored points so well for Taylor & even then Chavez landed the more damaging punches.

Chavez is all wrong for floyd.
