Why is Haye the early (heavy) betting favorite over Chisora?

  1. Haye fought C level fighter Barrett, Old fat shot to hell Ruiz (who Haye stopped on his feet and it took 9 rounds) and C level fighter glass chinned Audley Harrison. Haye's best win was a SD over a slow no power Mummy named Valuev. Haye is also a glass chinned coward and a 1 punch stalker. He dont even throw combos usually. Chisora fought well against Vitali, fought OK against Fury although a little out of shape and he beat Robert Helenius.
Chisora has a great chin and loads of heart. How does Haye turn out as the favorite? I'm betting on G$ora ALL THE WAY and I predict a TKO in 8 rounds!

My instinct is that this is Haye's to lose.

Chisora is perfect for him style wise. Chisora has to come forward to be effective - a poor mans Joe Frazier. He had some success against Vitali & Helenius who stand right in front of you tall and straight up, but Haye will box with slickness and movement. I just see Haye playing Matador to Chisora's bull all night. Whether he can stop or seriously hurt Chisora I'm not sure. But I fully expect him to land the crisper and more accurate punches, putting rounds in the bank.

I think the bookies have it about right.

The opening post does resemble that of a typical Mayweather or Pacquiao fanboy post and is extremely, extremely biased.

In what world was Danny Williams "still serviceable"? You say that Ruiz and Harrison were shot, but Williams was in a far, far worse condition than either of those two. His performance against Chisora could be right next to the word "shot" in a boxing dictionary.

:bart He looked **** on Prizefighter: HW, but was only a year removed from his second win over McDermott, who'd then go on to give Tyson Fury a very hard night.

Haye is much faster and more proven than Chisora, I think.

Chisora is fun to watch cause the guy has crazy heart and chin and is willing to take several punches just to land one of his, but Haye is just better. He does everything better than Chisora. On paper Haye should be the favorite. But Haye does have conditioning issues and a so so chin. If chisora can catch him he could win, But as slow as he is I just don't him catching Haye. I hope he does tho I'd love to see chisora win...

    Haye UD

    I hope I'm wrong tho...

I think this is a great fight to have a little money on.

Haye has not impressed at HW, although I don't think he will be cautious as he was against Vlad & Valuev due to there size, I do however question his heart as a fighter.

Chisora has a decent chin and will come forward, but lacks skill.

If Haye grows some testicles I think he beats Chisora, however Haye fancies himself as an acting star, which he has been going on about since before the Vlad fight, this tells me that he is not committed to the sport and will under estimate AGAIN the task ahead.

I say the smart money is on Chisora!!

I will bet small on Chisora, I like what I've seen from him against Vitali. Dude will bring it, seems to have the heart and chin as well. Not so sure about Haye, if things don't go his way...

  13. Chisora fought Tyson Fury,Vitali and Helenius. We all know Dereck beat Helenius contrary to the bad decision. Even though Dereck lost those 3 fights on paper,he looked good in all of them. Haye fought all shitty fighters and didnt look the special beating any of them. Haye is the epitome of a 1 punch stalker.

Haye fights on a back foot too much and someone like Chisora should make that difficult for him since Haye doesn't fight on the inside and isn't shot like Ruiz.
