How long have you been watching and learning about boxing? And since you r a ES Guru, please tell me if your take is based on what and if it is not based on heart first and before neutral mind sight, tell the truth so help you in whatever you believe in...
I'd have to agree, and I've seen the fight 5 times already. Too many people are not scoring that fight properly and the compubox was ridiculous, Cotto blocked most of the punches he was throwing in that fight. Cotto also didn't get credit for the clean body punching he was connecting. I scored the fight a draw, and I think the 9th round Cotto had that round won, but let him comback the second half, and that would of made a big difference had he won that round. No way Floyd dominated that fight and Floyd is a good manipulater too because he has people believing he choose to stand and trade and make the fight more exciting but doesn't realize that the real people who analize everything that was going in the fight could see that Cotto made him fight by the pressure he was putting on him, cutting off the exist routes and breaking his rhythem with his jab. Floyd just better be lucky Cotto didn't do much those last 2 rounds and got alittle tired.
Ey, I got you kid. Boxing fans think differently. I get it. However, I thought Floyd won rather easily. If it's up for debate, then debate. Maybe we were watching different fights or something.
I agree with everything except the first round, I thought Floyd won that round. Round 9 floyd stole towards the end and round 10 Cotto stole towards the end of that round. The last 2 rounds is what Hurt Cotto's chances of getting a decision, that was the difference.
Nope, because he won 6 rounds on my card. Now your scorecard was probably different than mines because you weren't looking at what both fighters were doing, only what Mayweather was doing.(your a Mayweather fan) One things for sure, he blocked the majority of the punches Mayweather was throwing in that fight and it reminds of when Calzaghe was credited for punches they claimed he was landing when he fought Hopkins but Hopkins didn't credit for his clean punching. Either way, your boy finally stepped up and fought a fighter who had the skills to challenge him because all those yrs. he's been fighting washed up fighters, small guys, and taking breaks instead of fighting everybody that was at the top of the division at the time but he didn't wanna risk it to preserve his record. Hopefully will get the fight between him and Pacquaio, because Pac got a tough fight ahead of him.
Cotto what's up bro. I didn't know you posted on Eastside Boxing. Dude you gave it your all and you get full credit from me. I gave you 3 rounds by the way. Keep your head up and good luck in your next fight brah. Nothing wrong with losing to the best brah.
If Floyds punches were hitting gloves then why was Cottos face so ****ed up after the fight. Youre a clown.
Winky's face was always marked up at the end of fights too and he's known for blocking punches in a whole fight. You know why? Because when you have a high guard and your light skin, your glove causes the impact from the hard punches that are being blocked in a tough grueling fight.(that's where most of the redness on his face from and you know it) Floyd didn't start hitting him real flush until the 12th round and Cotto finally got a bloody nose. Cotto had a lot of redness from the punches that were blocked, but if he was getting hit the way you claimed, both his eyes, nose, and face would of been busted up bad like it was in the Pac fight, and Cotto marks up easy too.
Why don't you post a pic when Floyd's nose was leaking? You think you can find it? Oh and BTW, he doesn't mark up as easy as Cotto either.
Floyd had a bloody nose that stopped bleeding by the 10th round. He had a slight abrasion above his left cheek. And a bloody lip. Meanwhe Cotto looks like he was beaten with a bat and about to be deposited in the Nevada desert. See the difference moron?
Cotto was pissing blood after the fight. How many times did Cottos jaw snap or head pop up off a right hand or uppercut. Cotto was hit with flush gut busting body shots as well which is why he was pissing blood.
