All sanctioning bodies are bought by me. I keep the World Boxing Assoc. name and their fancy looking red/white/blue belt, and ditch everything else.

Winners of each of these groups move forward into the next group to fight on towards a Lineal World Champion.

    Groups:

USA Group 1: Deontay Wilder vs. Chris Arreola
USA Gruop 2: Eddie Chambers vs. Tony Thompson
USA Winners: (I predict Wilder vs. Chambers)

USA Winner moves forward to Quarter Finals

UK Group 1: Tyson Fury vs. David Price
UK Group 2: Chisora vs. Haye
UK Winners: (I predict Fury vs. Chisora)

UK Winner moves forward to Quarter Finals

Latin America 1: Solis vs. Fabio Eduardo Moli
Latin America 2: Juan Carlos Gomez vs. Mike Perez
Latin America Winners: (I predict Moli vs. Perez)

Latin America Winner advances to Quarter Finals

Poland Group 1: Mariusz Wach vs. Albert Sosnowski
Poland Group 2: Tomaz Adamek vs. Andrzej Wawrzyk
Poland Winners: (I predict Adamek vs. Wach)

Poland Winner advances to Quarter Finals

Europe Group 1: Wlad Klitschko vs. Robert Helenius
Europe Group 2: Alexander Povetkin vs. Vitali Klitschko
Europe Winners: (I predict Wlad vs. Vitali...but Pov may upset the older bro)

Europe Winner Advances to Quarter Finals

EMEA/APAC Group 1: Chauncy Welliver vs. Mark de Mori
EMEA/APAC Group 2: Alex Leapai vs. Lucas Browne
EMEA/APAC Winners: (I predict Leapai vs. Welliver)

EMEA/APAC Winner advances to Quarter Finals

    Quarter-Finals look like this:

    USA vs. Latin America

    Poland vs. UK

    Europe vs. EMEA/APAC

    Semi-Finals??? How do they look?

Who is left in the finals?

You think Moli, who is the wrong side of 40 and was floored multiple times by Matt Skelton and feather-fisted Taras Bidenko, beats Solis? :patsch

You need to get off Boxrec man. They massively over-rate the South American HWs.

They have George Arias, who was schooled by Audley Harrison, in the top 50

I didn't have time to work out every aspect of the theory.

Was trying to give an idea and spark some intelligent convsersation and suggestions.

Also, I just gave my predictions.. asked for everyone else to do the same...instead you all respond with nonsense.

    ESB is awesome!

I've never seen Moli fight, just read a little about him. Was just filling in the blanks wiht

I really dislike Arreola and Solis. I mean, I aint a hater, but I really dislike them both.
But...........even in my hate for them, I can't imagine a way that Wilder or Moli can win either those fights.

And why does Poland lay claim to it's own area?
Potvetkin is a russian. Perhaps You separate former Soviet States from Western Europe in your brackets.

That would include the UK with Poland and you'd get a better mix.
Maybe 8 fighters from each zone. America being separated into 3 brackets due to it's size and large # of potential contenders. And include OZ in with either Asia(Russia) or US.

Mitchell, Jennings and Chambers, along with Welliver are all better than Fury or Price. Chances are, America has more top 10 talent than boxrec gives us credit for because it's so difficult for top American fighter to get good fight, or maybe because non u.s. journeymen like Bydenko and McNuggett are so overrate and couldn't hold Dings or Reeds or Gvaerns or Kings jockstrap.:deal

you might have received some better responses if your predictions were not so bad, and your tournament format worked

Actualy, i remember this fight had a controversial decision but you are right, there is no reason to put a guy like George Arias in the top 50(and anyone who had a close fight with Audley Harrison rsrs). Boxrec ratings are completely inaccurate. BTW, Moli is even weaker than George Arias, An obese Solis would KO the argentine easily

Jesus.. trying to have an intelligent conversation on boxing here is impossible.

I clearly said in my OP to give your own predictions. :patsch

I've laid out details of how the tournament would work in several other posts.

This post was just to spark some other ideas, which I see is like asking a drunk to walk a straight line.

So... let me give you every single detail since you are all incapable of any intelligent original thought...

    Slacker,
I was with you until you wrote: "I predict Fury vs. Chisora."

C'man, now. Chisora isn't much, but at least he's got heart. Fury is ridiculous.

Again, just filling in the spaces and looking for ideas on the tournament aspect, not so much the predictions.

I expected feedback about how to make the tourney better and maybe a few personal opinions on who might fill the brackets for each nation, winners, etc..

IMO, Chisora is unproven at the elite level. Haye is completely un-skilled and a clown. Fury is comical. I've never seen Price fight.
