as harsh as it sounds, theres been a few times i wanted robbery to take place one of them was last night when junior the shitter won the british title again. i hate his 10 punch a round style and his spoiling. i think for the good of the sport fighters like that need to retire.
Pull the other one mate. You not enjoying his style has nothing to do with "the good of the sport". Boxers that have a low punch output and don't get hit much have been around for decades.
Never ever have a wanted a guy to be robbed. I may go into a venue to support a fighter but if I think he has lost I want the other guy to get the nod.
I don't think Id ever want to see a fighter robbed of a decision they deserve, it's situations like that which have tarnished the credibility of the sport. However, times when I think a boxer has been robbed? Far too many to count unfortunately...................
Mares vs Agbeko 1, because no points were deducted and the bogus KD called it would have been hard for a judge to score the fight for Agbeko. But Mares and Mora teaming up to cheat Agbeko out of a deserved win made me wish the judges had been kinder to Agbeko so at least he didn't lose his title because of the disgraceful referee.
Not that i want to see a guy get robbed for any reason but their would be some form of Karmatical retribution if the likes of Cleverly and burns lost when they pick no hopers like Karpency and Cook etc more for the spoiling of the promoters who do the match making than the boxers themselves.
Hopkins vs Pascal II, I really don't like Hopkins and didn't want to see him surpass big George Foreman as oldest world champion.
It wasn't a robbery but I scored the Degale/Groves fight for Degale and I remember watching it hoping that the judges saw the fight differently and give it to Groves.
I was really hoping it being a bit competitive and Oscar being the big star would give him the win against Floyd Mayweather, when really I knew it wasn't all that close at it'd be a bit of a robbery if he did get the win.
No matter how much I hate a fighter, I'd never want to see anyone get robbed. We've enough of that bull**** as it is. It's bad for the sport.
Cox - Sai But that would have probably been a deserved victory for Sai. I would love to see Cox win every round against Sai in a rematch, only to either a) be stopped with a low blow after the bell Duran - Buchanan style, or b) lose a split decision. Also, I'd love to see Don Broadhurst lose a contentious decision. I still haven't forgiven him for that accumulator bet
