Was Dawson Calling Out Ward A Little Cowardly?

I loved the fact that he called Ward out. Dawson is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

 

not cowardly but its not like he doesn't have fights in his own division...he needs to clear out the challengers/champions there for first...fights like dawson-cloud or dawson-pascal excite me more than dawson-ward

 

The OP makes no sense to me. I'd prefer Ward/Bute and Dawson/Pascal II to Dawson/Ward, but that scenario isn't feasible given the current schedule.

As it stands, this is an extremely high risk fight for both guys. Credit to them.

 

I don't know was calling out Hopkins and Joe Calzaghe cowardly ? He basically did the same thing after he beat Tarver .

 

He was just feeding the promotional machine. Go back to fight night on Ward's twitter and you'll see "Dawson was told to say my name". Assuming Shaw directed Dawson to spark things up......

 

nah, not cowardly, smart, if anything. both pascal and cloud are busy with one another. who else is dawson going to fight in the u.s, to draw some money, beibut shumenov? ward was a good call out on a live HBO card, to get the hype machine moving along.
