640 is what he threw, I thought?

Anyway. Fair play to Roach -- this is the exact game plan Joe is expecting, so well done! Now Joe knows what will happen, he can work around it.

    Fools.

Newsflash! Joe calzaghe is expecting to be countered. Jeez.

Joe calzaghe is expecting for Bernard to come back to life in the 9th. This is what he always does.

Is that the best plan Roach could come up with? Really?

It sounds good and might work. But theory and executing it are two different things.

It won't work. It's too bloody obvious! Especially now that they leaked out their "game plan".

Whatever, though. I think Bernard's expecting a replay of the Hatton-Mayweather fight.

Thing is, Calzaghe's the Mayweather of this fight and Hopkins is the Hatton.

Don't tell anyone, but I've heard a shocking rumour that Joe may be looking to outwork Hopkins. Sssh!

And we all know Calzaghe's strategy: Try to throw 1000 punches and just simply outwork Hopkins.

    The strategies here are obvious.

Think about this: What are Calzaghe's weaknesses? His defense definitely could be better. His punches could be straighter. His balance could be a bit better.

Hopkins counterpunching with STRAIGHT, CLEAN, EFFECTIVE punching would attack Calzaghe's weaknesses. Also, his rough house tactics inside would attack Calzaghe's strength of "keeping distance and throwing 1000 punches".

If Hopkins executes from start to finish, he wins.

I dunno, but if he thinks Joe is gonna rush in head first like a bumbling idiot, only to be pot shotted all night, he's got another thing coming.

And if Bernard headbutts him, Joe should do the same thing right back. Fight fire with fire and refuse to be bullied.

 Roach didn't leak out their "game plan". This stuff is pretty obvious. But the specifics on HOW they will execute the plan is the real secret and i'm sure Hopkins is trying to figure this out as we speak by watching Calzaghe's fights.

Hopkins even said in an interview that he is taking with him the last 7-8 fights of Calzaghe and watching them everywhere they go.

It didnt bother me, im a fan of both, Mayweather is my favourite non-british boxer, Hatton may not have won, but it would have been a better/different fight

For starters, Enzo Calzaghe is one of the finest trainers in the world. These guys know how to win a fight.

Calzaghe's weaknesses? You COULD say defence... if only he didn't have an iron chin and didn't give a **** if he's hit or not. He walks through bombs on a regular basis, and Bernard does not possess what it takes to KO Calzaghe. Trust me on this one.

Balance Calzaghe's weaknesses with his strengths. Don't forget to include the fact that his heart is huge, and his will power is absurd.

This fight comes down to who wants it the most. There's your winner.

May I remind you that Joe can get also rough on the inside, if that's how Bernard wants it.
