The fight with Castillo ALONE makes him HOF worthy.

 

He really should. Wins over Casamayor, Freitas and Garcia for world titles were all big underdog wins, his epic win over Castillo (another who I feel should be in the HOF one day)

And wins over
Gainer, Brown, and Manfredy on top of that? I think so.

 

I'm not sure if he is HOF worthy. He had that great fight with Castillo but he lost most of his biggest fights. Plus, he wasn't effective above 135 pounds it seemed. He was exciting but not sure if his career really merits HOF recognition. If he gets in, then Gatti definitely deserves to get in

 

I think he deserves to be in the HOF. Had some great wins against some fighters who were no joke and then there was that night in '05.

And he lost ALL his BIGGEST FIGHTS?!! against Mayweather, Castillo (after Castillo cheated), and Casamayor..!!

Even though he beat Angel Manfredy, Roberto Garcia, Jose Luis Castillo, Joel Casamayor, Acelino Freitas.

Compare it to a guy like Cuevas who is in the HOF:
Won a world title and has wins over Espada, Shields, Clark, and got his **** absolutely pushed in whenever he stepped up against the top guys.

 

YES!!!! He was a Great Fighter....He had Gatti Heart..But better Boxing Skills, Could never count him out of a Fight!!

**** fought all-comers, his first fight with JLC should put him in there, plus also begging Dr Margaret Goodman to let him have one more round against Casamayor was ****ing unbelievable. HOF lock for me...

Hall of Fame? Your kidding right? No!! Someone mentioned Cueves in an earlier post. Are you smoking something? Cuevas had something like 12 title defenses and crushed guys. He did what he had to defend his title. Corrales always lost and lost big!!!!! No Hall of Fame. He had a great fight with another guywho is not Hall of Fame. No Hall of Fame for Corrales!!
