no, but he really needs to learn how to deal with pressure and learn a shred of defense if he wants to continue.

If he does carry on, he'll be Jeff Lacy.

he has one of the worst chin in pr boxing, and that chin may shatter again if he moves up or fight quality opposition.

His defense wasn't that great against Penalosa, he just walked through the punches. But the main problem is he he loses all form when tired or hurt. Against many top fighters that's not a death sentence, unless he keeps fighting stupid.

He was getting wobbled by almost EVERY punch Salido landed, and Salido is not a hard puncher.

Gerry hit him a lot, and put some weight on his punches, but for each 2 punches he landed, Juanma landed 3, much harder.

You could say he's a victim of his early success. I'm sure TR put him in with PDL to give him some tough rounds. If he'd fought Mtagwa at around that time, he probably would have blown him out, and not cause of any weight factors.

I think he has a chance to revitalize his career and figure out how to improve. It may not seem likely, but he performed well even in losing to Salido in his last fight. Depending on what course of action he takes next, it's possible.
