Yeah true, but we should all know by now Manny is one of those conservative traditional values type a people..and that's how most traditional Asians are. It's not the me-first, money grubbing culture that is prevalent here in America. That's what he grew up in...loyalty, respect the elderly, don't hurt people's feelings, etc. Unless Bob openly screws him over, my money is on him resigning with Bob for the remainder of his career.
Mayweather and Pacquiao need promoters like Top Rank and GBP. While Mayweather promotions is growing, they arent ready to take on a massive world-wide PPV mega-event.
You are wrong about that. Do some research on Pacquiao and how many different pomoters hes had and the flip flopping from gbp and top rank. The boxing business has nothing to do with values and all to do with money. Pacquiao sure as hell wouldnt lose one second of sleep over leaving Top Rank lol.
What I find interesting is the lack of responses from Pac.. I know he lives over seas but it is mostly Floyd calling for Pac to step up.. Where are the vids of Pac countering Floyd,I just think that Bob has Pac convinced not to fight him,or claiming Floyd is not serious..
Oscar, Floyd, and Cotto. If Manny is smart he'd follow suit. There isn't that much loyalty in the world. These men aren't out there taking punches and punishment for their health. They are in it for the money. Did Bob Arum ever get punched in his face? Maybe he did but he doesn't know what it's like to be a prizefighter. I think the fighters have made Bob Arum rich enough. It's time for them to do for them. If Pacquiao's not on board then it's on him. Everyone would say he should free himself but the ultimate say rests on Manny's shoulders.
Exactly, PAC is not loyal. People seem to forget the whole gbp saga that keeps costing him a part of his winnings after every fight.
Being a money-grubbing ***** while not giving a **** if you step over people while doing it is a "value". I'm not saying Pacquiao wouldn't leave Arum, but I'm sure he would lose sleep over it if Arum didn't do anything to warrant him leaving. I mean just look at his ridiculous entourage....does he really need to pay people to hand him water bottles or to walk his dog? He could do well not having most of these people around....but he's too damn naive. As for M&M promotions, his original American promoter....he ditched them because they openly betrayed his loyalty.
If I came to you with a suitcase-ful of millions and told you it's yours if you blow some random homeless guy's dick....you'd be on your knees in a second. At the time that happened, Pac wasn't too far off from selling loosie cigarettes on the streets.
