Andre Berto tests positive for Enhancers. Should Ward, Donaire and Judah be tested?

The minimum that should be done is that every title fight should include testing. this is realistically possible.

Unfortunately this is 100% correct. Without a governing body, there is nobody responsible for keeping the sport clean. The state commissions are limited because fighters live and fight all over the place. Who tests a guy who trains in Vegas for an upcoming fight in New York? A guy from Montreal fighting in England?

The only realistic solution I see is for a fighter to be tested by the commission sanctioning the fight from the time the contract is signed until the time of the fight.

:deal Yep. Popping up everywhere man. All the big names if their not proven cheats many still think they are. And I'm talking just about every sport.

 

I hope Donaire isn't on anything. I like watching him box, and he seems like a decent guy. Working with someone like Conte is a terrible idea, though...I don't even think he should work with Robert Garcia after the Margarito handwrap scandal.

Yeah, I agree. I'm a huge fan of Donaire and this news worries me. I don't think Donaire is the 'type' to cheat but then again, I think it's entirely plausible that Conte is allowing his customers to be ignorant of what goes into their bodies.

As a Donaire fan, I want to think he's not cheating. If I think about it objectively, I have to doubt all of the fighters with a connection to Conte. I think it's likely all have taken PEDs, knowingly or not.

The most obvious for me would be Ward. I think he has taken something.

 

This would highly disappoint me. Having met him, he is a great guy.

Working with Conte is not a good way to keep the good guy image.

If someone like Lamont can be juicing then any of them can be, as cynical as that sounds. And only the VADA tests would have caught him, the crappy commission tests and even Floyd's testing would have given negative results.
