IB, got to give it to ya', you were certainly right about Bernardo.

At first, I felt a little "meh...." (mainly cause I did really enjoy BK), he's turned out to be as good as you'd said he was :good

2 weeks. It's used a lot in Shakespeare, but you rarely see it on this side of the lake these days. :good

You can never go wrong with a dude who just loves boxing.

That's why I'm against people dogging Kellerman, who if nothing else is clearly always very passionate about the sport. (as compared to Merchant, who at this point is only passionate about hearing himself pass wind...)

    thank you good sir.

I'd tried to figure it out "from context" a few times, but couldn't quite get a good feel for what it meant.

Learn **** all the time. :p

    Round 1

Brinson is hopping around and flicking jabs up from the hip. Soft rights over the top by Brinson. Escalera tries to step inside and place his lead foot between Brinson's to set up for a power punch, but Brinson is moving too much for him. Constant lateral movement and light jabs by Brinson, tapping the body from outside. Escalera shoulders his way into Brinson and gores him against the ropes but can't land an actual punch.

    10-9 Brinson

    agreed, on both accounts.

But Merchant, often even just TRIES to inject negativity into the broadcast.

Such a snide ol' **** head, really.

It's a bit pretentious, I'll grant, but I'm lazy and it's easier to type than "two week period.":nut

    Round 2

Wild slow hooks by Escalera. Brinson uses in and out movement, jabbing lightly and throwing combos in mid-step. Escalera waves down a few broom-like lefts to the body. Brinson still isn't giving him any clean touches, bouncing around. Clinch. Brinson lands an uppercut on the inside, and then starts to open up but gets nailed with a left hook. Escalera rushes forward trying to follow up but Brinson keeps backpedaling. Another left hook by Escalera. Brinson is pinned to the ropes and bashed with hooks to the back while trying to tie up. They press together, grinding bicep to bicep as Escalera throws uppers to the body. Escalera jabs low while chasing Brinson back. Another clinch, and Brinson lands a right hand over the top on the break. Brinson dives down and shoe shines the body before tying up again.
