    You couldn't KO Kirkland even if he was already dropped twice by Ishida.

    Ortiz easily could've beaten the count. But he quit. And most of all, he was trying really hard to sell his "innocent victim" BS. Basically he was thinking, "If I stay down and make it look like I'm seriously hurt people will feel really sorry for me and perhaps I can get Mayweather DQ'd."
