    It is relevant because we are talking about 2 completely different fighters. Plus Floyd caught a wreckless Hatton with the perfect shot Ricky didn't see coming, and Hatton's chin at 147 is questionable at best. Floyd has average power when he plants his feet and put everything behind his punches, same with Joe it is average at best at this point in his carrer.

    Calzaghe won't even attempt to put anything behind his punches, because he is gonna worry about those counters all night long.

    Not according to Joe who's confident there will be an increase in power at LHW. This is your word against Joe's. With him being a master boxer, I'll side with Joe.

    Yes because you know someone as smug as Joe is gonna admit that he has lost power moving up in weight, right? I guess if Mayweather said his power has increased moving up from 130 you would believe him too being the master boxer he is.

    You can take their word. I will make my conclusions based on their performances, and Joe's power has simply been subpar of late.

    Clinton Woods had improved since taking a merciless beating from Jones but he would still lose to an old Hopkins. B-Hop has too much skill.

    i think if joe sees he has a guy in trouble he does not care about his hands he will try and get the them out of there!

    If someone tags him hard he seems to care less about his hands!

    it is a shame though, if he could punch as hard as 8 years ago, what would of happened agains Lacy and kessler ?

    but on the flip side he was not a smart fight then, so he would probably get hit more!

    Woodhall, Richie Woodhall you mean - he didn't take as many as ten unanswered shots and he was on the ropes. I agree with the Mitchell Stoppage BTW.

    yup, sometimes i think joes heart gets in the way of his skills, if he gets hit he relies on agression rather than skill, and these days he has more skill than power!
