FYI: This will be streamed live for ESPN subscribers in the USA on ESPN3.com at 5pm EST!!!!!!!!!! Main event only, no undercard. For those who haven't used it before, if you have cable service in the United States - and parts of Canada, I think - with the ESPN family of channels as part of your subscription, you are eligible to register for free on ESPN3.com, formerly called ESPN360. Lots of live events on there, including every weekly edition of ESPN2 FNF as well as select special events like this one...typically midday European boxing. Undercard begins in 2 hours. Paranoid now, had an incident earlier this week where I was at work and cleared up my afternoon schedule to be able to do Pianeta vs. McCall when it started at 2:15pm EST...but had some things to take care of from 2 until 2:10 and left it until the last minute to make a thread...and lo and behold someone came in and made one several minutes prior to the broadcast start at 2:07pm claiming they didn't think there would be one (even though I was online). :-( That person was a Dane, too. You can see why I'd be in a hurry to plant a flag in the ground for this one. :yep I'm about to do some errands until just about 2pm, not taking any chances here.
At 6 not 5 from what I've seen, the actual ESPN site says 7. Don't know what time it's actually starting
Afternoon European boxing for the east coast US fan, LOVE it!!! Reminds me of when I was first getting into boxing in the late 70s and early 80s. They had fights on EVERY weekend in the afternoon it seemed!
Masternak-Miles fight is on, 3rd round now, Miles down from a clear straight counter right at the very end of the second , no count :huh Miles never been down, tough guy it seems but getting f** up now..
Masternak a bit tensed, wants to finish the guy off with one shot it seems but it's not that easy. Trainer tells him chill out, calm down and throw combinations. All rounds won by Master so far I think (haven't seen the first).
