No it's not, the sport advances on, lots of fighters are more advanced and more physically talented than Ali P4P, I could name plenty.

And that comment I made was in response to some other idiot's comment to wind him up, as many like to believe that Ali was the fattest and most talented fighter in his era.

 

Better yet how about this scenario: Pacquiao versus DLH and the winner fights Calzaghe

Do you honestly believe boxing has just continued to evolve, and is constantly getting better and better? I think that is the furthest thing from the truth. It has peaks and low points, but the sport as a whole has been at the stage it is now technically for quite some time. The quality of the fighters, on the other hand, has likely gone down since certain eras.

I agree If they really knew what those great fighter's from the past could do they would fully understand that boxing skill does not accumulate like facts in science.
