Think about it MAN BEAR PIG. You used to have Langford as the most overated fighter on this board. Think about it, that's all i'm saying to you, think about it MAN BEAR PIG.
I strongly doubt it, but you never know. No one would have picked Schmeling to beat Louis or Billy Conn to give him fits. Admitedly these were more technical fighters than the Rock, but Louis is often critized for not having great competition, just like Marciano... However, I still Rate Joe ahead of Marciano, so I'd have to put the Money there too.
I've got no interest going over it. I've made my stance clear in the last four years. Go through countless 30+page threads to see why I don't rate this era all that much. Bruseles, Gatti, Ortiz, all shite. Robbo' fought way more ranked opponents so I couldn't give two shits about all the keep busy fights he had.
I'll take Jones and B-Hop over Floyd as well. **** it, I'll take Pacman over him as well. And Paup Snith.
I'm a big fan of Pernell Whitaker, I've debated this many times, and I give the edge to Floyd because of his consistency, and dominance over a longer period of time. Pernell was not nearly as strong at 35 as Floyd is. Roy Jones!? I have to completely disagree. The level of opposition that Jones fought between Toney and Tarver was disgraceful. He never beat a single lineal, unified or undisputed champion. He also arguably never beat the man in any division he campaigned at. He was a paper champion for most of his career. In terms of skill set? Would Floyd ever get out boxed by the likes of Montell Griffin, Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver?
