I didn't see him hurt vs. Bouadla and I don't think Froch came close to stopping him, but otherwise I agree.

 

I thought Mikkel was almost dead man walking in end of the Froch fight even he was firing back. Kesslers huge heart kept him there IMO.:good

 

Froch looked just as bad. No doubt that one of them would have been down if they had 1 more round left. but impossible to say who!

 

I really don't see many beating him at 175 either. . . At first I was weary about him coming in so low, but he'll settle in perfectly around 172. . .

Only Light heavies I think beat him almost for sure is Dawson. . . I'd slightly favor Pascal over him . . . But I'd definitely pikc Kessler over Cloud, Cleverly, and Shumenov. . . Three belts right there. . .

Yes it's so sad the SMW division must be the weakest division ever in the history of boxing - I mean when a B-level fighter like Kessler can be one of the dominating fighters over a period of 10 years that kinda says it all - Hell he even gave Calzaghe his closest fight of his career - but then again Calzaghe was never more than B+

Yeah and Wards Best win was against a b-level fighter with doublevision.

This. Apparently Kessler declined after one tough fight and beating up German cab drivers.

Oh why oh why couldnt Ward have fought the prime Kessler who went life and death with Mundine...lol

People forget one thing: His skills are better now then before(Montoya defiantly did something good for him) but yeah his speed and his power are not what they are used to be

Floyd, Dirrell has a disgracefull typical american glass heart and a glass chin, if Kessler catches him like he did against Green, he is gonna get killed :deal

 

Where he has gained in some areas he has declined in others that much i can agree, he barely throws a straight punch anymore, hes very flat footed, the losses outweigh the gains quite conclusively. The fact he was forced to go to war with Froch was evidence enough of his decline, the footwork is not there and nor is the accuracy.
