Will Haye do a better job on Chisora than Vitali did?

Yeah, right:good. First off, Vitali did not injure his R shoulder this time, it was his left. And although he needs his jab to set up his R cross/straight, it's not altogether necessary since he was still able to feint with it and get DelBoy to eat those hard R hands.

The reason DelBoy went 12 with Vito and 12 with Helenius and 12 with Fury is b/c he can take a hard shot plain and simple.

Another poster corrects me by syaing Del was hurt by Helenius....TRUE......but only for an instant. He backpedaled, NOT in the 2d Rd, but in the first with the only meaningful R hand Helenius was physically capable of throwing. But still, Robbe landed something near 300 hard L hooks to the temple/chin area of DelBoy throughout the rest of the fight, and aside from the moment when Helenius broke those 2 metacarpals, DelBoy was still able to absorb and basically walk through his punches.

 

On the flip side never have I seen a fighter (Chisora) get so much praise on here simply because he won 2 rounds against a guy with a hurt shoulder. It goes both ways..........

 

He knocked Solis unconscious in the first round. The guy couldn't even answer a ten count :deal

Well, he gets over rated because of the myth that Vitali is some brutal KO beast - when the reality if he hasn't looked brutal in years

 

Chisora will knock the **** out of Haye.

 

He is 40 years old. It is what happens. Like Joe Louis said Father Time catches up with everyone eventually. I wouldn't say Chisora is overrated either he has potential. he clearly beat Helenius. The Haye fight is an interesting one for several reasons. :good

I'm not arguing with you. In fact it appears we agree.

What I'm saying is that Vitali has clearly aged. Therefore going the distance with Vitali and winning a few rounds is not was it once was - but people don't seem to realise this and are giving Chisora massive props for not being knocked out.
