Am i the only one who wants this? I think that it makes alot of sense, both fights would be winnable for Kessler and the winner of their fight (Cloud vs Pascal) would drag a world title with them plus some hype. It would be a BIG event in Denmark and would give Kessler the opportunity to become a 4 times Champion in two different divisions.. The only obstacle i see is the weight, Kessler only weighed 169½ lbs for his fight against Green, if he can't bulk up to atleast 173lbs for a LHW championship fight, then it wouldn't be a good idea imo.. Thoughts?
I Think that the Magee followed by Bute plan makes sence. Good marketable fights. I really don't Care about Cloud. Kessler Sould stay at 168 IMO.
The weight is my main concern... I really want the winner of Pascal/Cloud, but i'm not sure if he can take advantage of the extra 7lbs..
Stay at 168. Kessler would have to do PEDs to gain weight, because he is really a skinny frame as it is (just look at the vids from earlier in his carreer - he now does weight training to stay close to 168.. otherwise he would be closer to 160) and he is not going to do that. So stay at 168.
I think if Dawson beats Ward he should take that fight if it is at 168. Then there is the Bute/Froch winner.
I think that 175 should be a plan B for Kessler. If Bute beats Froch he should go for Bute. If not (and Bute and Froch rematch) he should take MacGee first, and then Bute or Froch afterwards. Then it would be time to hang'em up.
