It's not that tough. No disrespect to Pac but Floyd has fought guys and beat them to the point where no rematch was necessary, JLC excluded. And the only reason there was a rematch there is because Floyd had a torn rotator and a broken hand that hadn't healed. But Manny had a lot of guys who beat him up that weren't quite as skilled as fighters like Corrales, Hernandez, Ndou, Chavez, Judah, Augustus, Manfredy,Corley,JLC.. You would have to exclude MAB, Morales & JMM from that list of Pac challengers that weren't quite as skilled.....

The flip side is that Pacquiao has actually fought MAB, Morales and JMM in their primes and at their best weights. Those wins are better than anything on Mayweather's list, imo. Floyd's big advantage is that he is undefeated. That makes them just about even, imo.

Not true. JLC and Judah were in their primes. That was the best of Diego. and Ndou never fought at a higher level. What kinda BS comment was that?

How about making Marquez come up to welterweight and then getting a gift decision?

That in itself allows Floyd to pull closer since Pac has been ****ing around since he's moved to welterweight fighting ZomieHoya, Marquez, Margarito, etc. and should have lost his last fight. While Floyd hasn't come close to losing since Castillo.

Pac and there's no real debate about it. You could argue that since Cotto, pacs resume has hardly been added and that floyd's resume is catching up, however he still has quite a way to go.

Until Pac takes the test there should be an asterisk next to all his wins

I remember emmanuel used to have comfortable leads in these polls before Floyd beat up Cotto(e). All it took was one fight. How times change

I don't consider Judah, Diego or Ndou to be anywhere close to Barrera, Morales or JMM in terms of record and legacy. I don't see how anyone could.

True enough, the flip side of that is that coming all the way up to welter and dominating fighters at the weight is a huge plus on his record as well. Anyway,, I'm a quality of opposition guy. If a fighter beats elite opponents consitently that is more important than getting a handful of losses along the way, Imo.
