Since when does Kessler buckle when against any fighter, he's only lost against p4p or future p4p talents. When in his prime he took 4 rounds off Calzaghe, hardly the mark of a fighter who folds under pressure. Green has been fighting at the same level for quite a while now so how an earth you can claim him to be faded is beyond me, he has always been a fringe contender nothing more, nothing less. At least at light heavyweight he's no longer drained like he was at 168lbs.
I agree on the part that the fight doesn't change much ... the rest is bullocks. Kessler has been in the SMW top5 for 10 years and still is - The fight "proved" that he is still very much a live contender. He is not as fast as he used to be - but he has added more punches and the ability to adapt in a fight - something that he didn't have earlier. + he seems to have more heart - really goes for the kill instead of backing off and playing it safe. The Kessler that beat Froch really lived up to his name - The Viking Warrior - a nickname that earlier in his career didn't make much sense
Green proves nothing much that he Kessler is back to another good fight but the way he came from that "knocdown" in round 1 and produced a dominant performance until he KTFO Green right on the button with that left hook, you can't stand steal and make such an opening comment fora thread unless you were never interested in this one...
It's funny seeing this sort of revisionism being used in an attempt to denigrate a European boxer. I saw the exact same thing occuring when Calzaghe thrashed Lacy - all of a sudden Lacy was an overrated bum Kessler was and still is a very good boxer, he was far more competitive against Calzaghe than Hopkins, RJJ, Lacy, etc were, yet because he knocked out Green in 4 rounds after a year out of the ring, Green is an overrated bum and Kessler is apparently done  Why don't you arseclowns just wait and see what he goes on to achieve instead of exposing yourselves as the insecure little xenophobes that you are?
