It's not about your English but about the implied information: "has" is a present tense suggesting the "bad leg" is still a story of actuality, while "had" is the past tense indicating the story already ended (as facts actually stand right now).

I fail to notice any non-Bute fan amused by your title/satire (well, usual trolls aside) and I would rather suggest you to read the message of a Froch fan resuming a good point on this thread. For what's worth, I gave you also the argumented answers to your questions (considering them outside their troll-welcome context), you limited yourself to dismiss them briefly restating the troll-like satire. Would you be so kind and explain what's your real opinion and what serious arguments do you think are backing it?!

I'm pretty sure you know what I was talking about. Unless il will turn out to be really necessary, I won't spend any minute on pointless side debates.

    Why?
And as a side note: the word "stream" is a clear overstatement for a two-element set consisting in one event and one non-event.

Dude, what are you still here for?I thought you were going to London for this fight.
This will be one less fan cheering for Bute, and he needs all the fans he can get there.

Well, in all fairness one should not be surprised by anything. Froch knows the main danger is Bute's left hand (and this is a matter of fact for a natural southpaw: no matter how hard you train, the right arm will never be as mastered as the left). So it is reasonable for Froch to prepare the fight focusing on Bite's left arm. If in his fight tactics Bute's right hook is assumed to be of no real danger, he might neglect it at some point more easily than the left arm on which he is naturally focused. Since Bute trained really hard his right hook during the last year, such a hook could produce real damage if landed cleanly without defence: it's no longer a definite weakness for Bute (and it widely opens the gate for many new tactical approaches in the ring).
Ceci dit, it's still more probable that a potential hurt for Froch will come with Bute's left arm.

The fight is still next Saturday, right? :D

I'm working Tue/Wed, flying out on Thursday. When I land in London, I'll be taking the train straight to the weigh-in in Nottingham, they're making it public apparently.

It's true, the speed & accuracy of his right hook have gone up over the past 3 fights. I just don't see a tough fighter like Froch getting wobbled by Bute's right hand.

I don't think you can KD Froch on accumulation. I think you need one hell of a ****in bomb. And Bute's bringing a couple to the fight. :yep

look at min 1:04 , Bute catches Johnson with a staggering right hook and shakes him. Since Johnson fight I think Bute worked and improved more his right hook as power, speed , timing and accuracy .

Don't forget that Johnson has a great chin & I think it's tougher than Froch's chin imo .... :yep

I hear rumours that the fight might be cancelled due to Bute's infected leg.

Does anyone have an inside scoop?

I'm not gonna publicly ruin my obvious joke by explaining it to you, but I'll give you a hint: read the bolded part.

BTW: a "sweet scientist" might consider with more care when to use the f-word.

Ruin your joke? it was obvious but it was also **** which is why I asked what the **** you were talking about.

BTW sweet scientist is a term about boxing, which has nothing to do with swearing. So...**** off :thumbsup Maybe a "thinker" should come up with better jokes

    Yeah.Don't get that one.

BTM shouldn't have to explain himself in what is clearly a joke thread. If people don't like it,there's a very easy cure.Plenty of decent Bute fans who are normally anti-troll are enjoying a bit of fun trolling themselves in the build up to fight week and that's exactly how it should be.People are having good banter along with a laugh and some boxing discussion mixed in.
It goes both ways and in the very unlikely event of a Bute win, most of us will be on here to take our punishment and that's only fair.
Some people have a real superiority complex and start breaking down posts with long winded piffle about word meanings and various other superfluous sleep-inducing snore-fests.
It's a boxing forum,we've got a big fight coming up,and people should be able to enjoy a laugh without having to feel like they're in school.
And no doubt there'll be some long winded comeback with all the power of temazepam.:zzz:zzz:zzz

Honestly Matty, this guy really thinks he's something. He should know that by calling himself a "thinker" he will immediately cause people to raise a flag.He comes on and turns boxing debate into a higher English lesson by trying to tie people up in debates about grammar and various other nonsense, totally losing the original argument's contents.
Why don't you eat some humble pie Mark? You'd do well to get that ego in check.
