All the people saying Ibragimov had a chance are now making threads saying how Wlad is taking an easy fight, good insurance doing it the day of the fight!

Well not all the people saying Ibragimov could pull the upset, but pretty much everyone either way...

The problem is that Wlad is a good fighter in a pool of crappy ones. Sultan is as good of a challenge as any one else out there. Even if this is an easy fight for Wlad, it's a good fight to be made because it's a unifier.

The only fighter out there that I can think of that might give Wlad problems is Valuev. Not because Valuev is that good, but the size might leave some questions as to how Wlad will deal with bening the smaller man.

Let Wlad, or anybody, unify at least two (hopefully all) the titles and then we should start getting better challengers.

Wouldnt it be great to see Wlad squating, moving his head, and actually look good doing it?

But if Wlad fought Valuev, I dont think he'd fight short, he would just fight his normal fight, just emphasizing on his superior footspeed/footwork, and probably win that way..

It is possible. I also believe Valuev would be the heavyweight right now that could pose a bigger challenge. The problem (for guys he fights) is that Wlad has sound technical skills, nothing out of this world, but he has pretty good defense & offense (when he decides to use it) and his biggest asset is that he's physically big and strong while still being athletic for a guy his size. His downfall IMO is that he doesn't take punches well, whether it be from a shabby chin or simply a problem mentally, like loosing composure when he gets hit flush and applied pressure. With that said, he usually has the size and athleticism to keep guys at a distance and punish them for trying as they come in on him. Against a guy like Valuev, he will be the smaller man and will have to work his way in to connect which can put him in danger of getting hit more than usual (such as when fighting smaller guys)... And what was Wlads weakness again? He doesn't take punches to well.
