JDS has the talent to do it and at 27 is young enough-


BUT...and its a big BUT...he would not be able to contend with a champion in boxing yet, more like this path-


1st year - 10 to 12 times fighting C level journeyman, some losing records, some winning records

2nd year - 5 to 6 times fighting A level Journeyman say N. Firtha, O. Beck, T. Walker, M. Sprott, R. Calloway type guys

3rd year - Fight former top tens, or past it champs say 4 times in one year like Rahaman, D. Guinn, A. Dimtrenko

4th Year - Start to fight top 10, or champions so he would at least 19-0 or 20-0 before taking on that calibre.


For me I could see JDS stay unbeatn for the first 3 years of what I mentioned but perhaps come unstuck against another unbeaten guy or lose to an E. Chambers...someone too polished.



Anyhow what makes JDS such a great MMA fighter so far is his take down defence..its more impressive than his boxing...which allows his big punching abilty to show through.

Or something like that.

It basically means he'll fight anyone. Is he supposed to say he's scared?? Junior said he'd like to try boxing someday, he never said he feels he can and will dominate the Klits. He plans to remain an MMA fighter.

In regards to MMA fighters who have strong boxing skills, what's wrong with saying they can beat boxers, especially when the HW division in boxing is lacking? You need to show more appreciation for their confidence. They're not trashing anyone. They just believe in their skills.

He said that in three months would fight against anyone......that´s all. He didn´t say he would beat anyone.....

 

MMA is no less "just a sport setting".
