I can see Haye vs Chisora being called off and cancelled. Does anyone else get that feeling? was speaking to once of my mates about it and we both think alike. I did want to get tickets for the fight but might wait until nearer the time just in case. With all the negative press and all, and with the fact that anyone who is involved in this fight whether it be promotion or trainer could risk getting license revoked by the boxing board of control. what do you think? G
Wouldn't be at all surprised. I can't think of many other fights with more potential **** ups, whether they are political, promotional or the flaky fighters.
There's too many people would like it to fail for it to happen for me. Too many reasons it could fall through.
I do also, which is why I haven't bought my ticket yet. Bad thing is, I probably won't get any good ones now if it does stay on! :/
The biggest risk with be Luxemburg bowing to pressure and pulling their backing. They'll then be left with a very hard to defend unlicensed fight.
What I can't understand is why the old bill are quiet on this one. Round here they would oppose this straight away given the potential risks. Big cost policing this.
They've already got the manpower in the city for the Olympics, so real costs are fairly small. Certainly no more than the usual that goes with the football in that area.
